It is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, who in the Christian religion, is also known as ‘The Son Of God’.
December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas. We all love the Christmas season! It starts with a Countdown to Christmas and it stays filled with fun activities: Christmas books, Christmas songs, crafts, movies & so much more. However, our favorite things would definitely be our Christmas Day Traditions with our family. It is a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength.
How Christmas Is Celebrated Around The World?
There are three different days in which one can celebrate the holiday. The first day of celebration is the day before Christmas, which is known as Christmas Eve. It is celebrated on December 24, every year, according to the Gregorian calendar. The second day is Christmas Day, which is celebrated on December 25 every year. The third day is known as Boxing Day, celebrated the day after Christmas, on December 26.
Celebrations take on many forms across more than 160 countries and billions of people. Traditionally, people decorate their homes with bright, colorful lights and a Christmas tree.
Christmas will undoubtedly look and feel different in 2020 because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, around the world. While some families will continue to welcome relatives and friends into their homes to celebrate the holiday, others will heed warnings from medical experts and keep get-togethers small or skip them altogether.
Despite restrictions and overall hard times, people around the world will still find ways to celebrate the holiday.
Look at Christmas in a new way this year. This is the year to invite Jesus into your heart. You will then have a “Merry Christmas.” The joy and peace you will receive will last all year as you look to God for all your needs to be met.
